How much $ is the administration giving to Palestinians/Hamas a year?

It’s important to note that UNRWA schools have been under scrutiny for antisemitic behavior. Reporting from the NY Post indicates that over $730 million has been sent to Palestinians since Biden took office.

OpenTheBooks, a government watchdog, has stated that Since President Biden took office, aid sent to UNRWA was over $1 billion. The State Department announced in February that it had “provided over $890 million for Palestinians” since April 2021, with more than $730 million going to UNRWA.

How much funding are we giving to Ukraine?

The estimate from the Center of Strategic and International Studies suggests we have appropriated $113 billion in support to Ukraine. The estimate from the Council on Foreign Relations is closer to $75 billion.

How much money are we giving to Israel in aid?

Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II. For FY2023, Congress authorized $520 million for joint U.S.-Israel defense programs (including $500 million for missile defense) in the FY2023 James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act. Per the terms of the MOU, Congress appropriated $3.8 billion for Israel (FMF and missile defense) in the FY2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act and added $98.58 million in funding for other cooperative defense and nondefense programs.

The Biden Admin is reportedly working on an aid package to Israel worth roughly $2 billion in funding. Additionally, it was reported that the Biden Admin is working to put out a foreign aid package worth up to $100 billion. This number is not solely for Israel, as it will include $ for the border, Taiwan and Ukraine.

Republicans who have not supported blocking: Sens. Hyde-Smith, Paul, Cruz, Moran, Murkowski, Risch and Schmit haven’t supported freezing Iran fund.
