“Jack Smith has a plan which is to put President Trump in prison before the election. In order for that to work, he needs a lot of judges to help him out. And thus far it’s actually gone pretty well for him. He had Tanya Chutkan at the district court who has been really helping him fast-track the case. He got a really liberal panel at the next court level that’s looking also to rush this case. The Supreme Court, he was hoping he could just get them to sign on with it as well. They seemed less eager to participate in this process and so this was a big step back for them, but he is determined,” said Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway.
