Keystone State Senator John Fetterman has voiced his support for Israel in the wake of the horrific attack carried out by Hamas on October 7th; he’s bucking the stance of his fellow party members on the far left including squad member Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar.
The Squad has been calling for a ceasefire almost since the attack on the 7th was reported. Fetterman, however, is standing firmly behind Israel.
“Innocent Israelis were the victims of a terrorist attack that resulted in the largest loss of Jewish lives since the Holocaust. Now we know that the tragedy at the Gaza hospital was not caused by Israel,” Fetterman shared on X.
“Now is not the time to talk about a ceasefire. We must support Israel in efforts to eliminate the Hamas terrorists who slaughtered innocent men, women, and children. Hamas does not want peace, they want to destroy Israel. We can talk about a ceasefire after Hamas is neutralized.”

Fetterman’s stance is in stark contrast to AOC, Omar, and especially Tlaib who is still peddling misinformation about a hospital that was reportedly hit by a bomb in Gaza.
